Do you have any family memories that make you feel warm, fuzzy, and loved? Sunday dinner was my family’s tradition, and it taught me how families should treat one another. A single bite of my Grandma’s famous sweet potato pie sent sensations of joy throughout my body! I can smell the whiff of well-seasoned chicken as I type and still hear the laughter fill the room. My Grandma’s hugs and smile were the icing on the cake! Memories like these are the reason I am passionate about providing excellent senior home care in Philadelphia.

Those were the good old days, but with food prices steadily increasing, sometimes it seems impossible to continue our Sunday dinner tradition. To stretch meals, I make big batches of the Classic 13 Bean Soup from Bob’s Red Mill. This hearty soup serves approximately 8 people ⸺you can even freeze some to enjoy later. Mix in your favorite spices, veggies, and your choice of meat, and you’ve got yourself a delightful pot of goodness!
